My work in Fine art consists primarily in exploration of both fluidity and firmness of watermedia, through subjects and ideas uncommon in today’s creative oeuvre. I call it a Post-modern Romanticism and Existentialism in art. Far and away from Realism (which to me in the age of quanta is a misguided idea in itself) then touching Impressionism, Expressionism, Abstractionism and postmodern art vocabularies, I dwell mostly in ideas of Sublime of today.
What is that sublime force of life that makes sense and awes our mind in a senseless, consumerist world we have rushingly developed, devoid of any substantial meaning of existence? Merely stating the obvious, or overstating the obvious, or failing to say anything worth saying — all while adrift in the void of intellectual and emotional emptiness — is that what is served in many galleries of today. But which I find profane and shallow.
I think, there can be more than that.
